Hi There!

We are Kat and Simon Gilbert, we live in Devon in the south-west of England with our two children and elderly tabby cat.

We are both avid fans of art and photography, and as such, beautiful imagery has always been a part of who we are and what we do. Whether this is documenting our own travels and the details of family life, or capturing all the subtle details of a gorgeous wedding, we feel that photography is a celebration of all that is good.

Our manner is warm, friendly and sincere, and our images are joyful, romantic and elegant. Drawing on almost 400 weddings worth of experience, we have fine tuned our style to encapsulate all the energy and natural beauty of your day.

Simply put, we love weddings! We believe every wedding is a treasure, magical and sublime. With months, or even years, of planning – so much goes into making your day as unique as you are, so much love, so much devotion. People will tell you your wedding day will fly by, but it doesn’t so much fly as comes alive and dances!

Good photography has the ability to both capture this dance and slow it down, to freeze a moment and make time stand still. Long after the day itself has passed we can help you bring back every emotion, every feeling, as though you were reliving it.

    Aside from photography and his family, Simon's loves are many, varied and frequently changeable! Currently it's travel, music, wine, indoor rowing, outdoor swimming and pondering the meaning of life, but who knows what next week will bring!

  • Kat Gilbert

    Kat is a life-long fan of all things arty & crafty and is happiest when creating. She enjoys black and white movies, vibrant coloured clothing, swimming in wild water and cinnamon with everything. Kat is a firm believer that life is all about the little things and will always find the magic in the mundane.
